I've been running the larger of the to overflow boxes for a couple of months now and i have nothing positive to say about it , the air intake is WAY to high if i dont fill the box up with flitermedia i will have to resuck the vacum in every couple of hours. any idea's how to fix this REALLY irritating problem ?

i can mention that i run the box on a 450L display tank and i have a aquamedic 3500L return from the sump ,
Do you close the air tap when the air is out the center compartment?
Also i think it is important that the box is placed vertical..
I have an issue with the mounting of the box. That's not working at all..i have mine studded with a bar..

Hi Dear,
For the Mounting on the Box, you can add some plastic bubble to protect it not venture. That can prevent the noise on the overflow box(The plastic bubble is already include on the packing box, you can reuse it)
For the Air Intake, we suppose for first start to close on it, it is no need to using a filter media. The design for the air intake is prevent for your tank overflow, it is not using for add any filter media on it
If it overflow on the tank, it can remove on the bar to use. For this item we have test it using with Power Jet 6000Litres pump to operate is normal status for few month
Thanks
