You simply wont find a better powerhead outthere for the price, even for twice the money. This pump has some kick, it is very well built and silent. The only "con" is that the speed of the pump is only adjustable at 50%, 75% and 100%. Which means that you will need to place the pump carefully. I wish the speed was more "teakable". Still, great pump. I bought two more and the twin controller after buying this one, you can't go wrong with it.

I bought one of these units after reading about them on an online forum. I have been more than pleased with the unit from day one. It moves a tremendous amount of water for its size. The unit was very easy to install and position in my tank. There are a couple of very minor drawbacks to this product though. First the instructions regarding the settings are not very clear. The "naming" of the settings is very odd and so adjustments can be a little tough at first. Secondly, the unit did make a whining noise at first, but after it broke in the sound was gone. Over all, this is a great product especially considering the price and I will order another in the future when I upgrade my tank size.

Cheap, but well-working pump. Little bit of noise, but that's acceptable.
Had some problems with the power supply, but had it fixed.
