Feature

The whole purpose of a skimmer is remove waste from the aquarium. It does this by blasting bubbles through a tube where the bubbles burst depositing waste into a collection cup. As the bubbles go through the water they collect waste on their surface. The more bubbles and the smaller the size the more efficient the skimmer is (It means a greater surface area so more waste is removed). The pump in the photos made bubbles by the ‘spokes’ chopping up the water as it’s sucked in by the pump. Using Enkamat instead of the spokes or as a replacement to the method your skimmer uses makes more bubbles and makes them smaller.
